It was 2011 and the summer was in full affect. One of those summerdays… Me and my friend David where shooting for a magazine, and we got to borrow a big and luxury sailboat, and we where cruising around the swedish archipelago with two models, having a blast.

This is Ola, one of the models. I never got to know him, but he was very friendly and a down to earth guy. I remember how we realized and laughed that we had been to the same sale a few days ago, and that we bought the same shirt. Then shortly after I left for Afghanistan, and I didn’t see more of the swedish summer of 2011. 

I just recently found out that shortly after this picture was taken, Ola and a friend passed away in a car accident. Things like this is hard to grasp and put words to.. Thanks for the memory, and I hope your in a better place know.  

Remember that life is short, take care of each other and live life to its fullest.

Afghans knows how to chill. Between roads, wrecked roofs, gastations.. 

I´ve been busy lately rescanning around 600 images from Afghanistan, b´cause the first scana where shit. Looking back at the images I have been posting here from Afghanistan, its safe to say the look like shit, quality wise. Will repost them in a proper edit later on as I scan them all. Here´s two kids somewhere deep in Kabul .
